Novartis Campus Basel

26 streets, 26 letters, 26 heroes of science, alphabetically. Novartis pays tribute to those who laid the foundations for today’s pharmaceutical research by establishing their names in the very groundwork of the Campus. One orients oneself in the present using the luminaries of the past as guides. We engaged Swiss typefont designer Bruno Maag to draw the “Campus Font” and had letters cast in metal and imbedded in the curbstones.
