It’s a poetic spirit who builds a laboratory for a pharmaceutcal company in the shape of a huge scalpel. The color of Ando’s beloved concrete called for its equivalent in metal. The lobby directory’s form allows viewers to appreciate what an extraordinary building they’re in, as well as to locate their point of interest at a glance.
