The Bonus Tree Story

The large Magnolia in the center of Novartis Campus was originally planted outside what was then Sandoz headquarters, so that its blooming would coincide with the handing out of employees bonuses. This story is told in the ring around the tree, grounding heritage in the foundation of the Campus. We embedded the metal ring of letters in granite for pedestrians to read as they stroll the Campus.
